C'anou C. Mortimer Joues, of Hastings, is a passenger by the Rangitihi, due at Auckland from London on October 20. Canon C. Williains, medical officer of Papua, who has been attending the Interpational Jubilee Esperanto Congress, held at Warsaw last August, left Wellington yesterday with Mrs Williams by the Van Rees for Sydney en route to New Guinea. Mr J. Caradus, district land registrar at New Plymouth, has been appointed Registrar-General of Lands. Mr Caradus served in the Auckland office of the Lands and Deeds Department before gomg to Blenheim as district registrar.
