Matawai Hotel.
The retirement of Mr. R. G. Caulton from the management of the Matawai Hotel, East Coast, coincides with the completion of a deal by which the house becomes the property of Messrs. D. J. Barry, Ltd., Gisborne, and New Zealand Breweries, Ltd,, jointly. The hotel is located on the main north highway from Gisborne.
