NURSES' RECREATION

Proposed Swimming Pool at Hastings Hospital "I don't think that this board has ever measured up to its responsibilities in regard to recreation facilities for tke trained staff," said Mr C. O. Morse, during a discussion at yesterday 's meeting of the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board regarding the provision of a swimming pool for the use of nurses at the Hastings Memorial Hospital. Steps are to be taken to endeavour to raise the £500 required for this purpose. "This is one of the good things that we got out of the commission," said Dr.' H. M. Wilson in supporting Mr Morse 's remarks regarding the. necessity for recreation facilities for the nursing staff. "If the Napier members can suggest anything in that direction for Napier, I should be only too pleased to support them," he added.
