Anti-Fascists Demonstrate
"DOWN WITH MUSSOLINI"
(Received 12, 9.30 a.m.i WASHINGTON. Oct. 11. A large crowd, while going to their ofdces, watched a clash between antiFascist demonstratore and the police outside the ltalian Embassy^ where Yittorio Mussolini, II Duce's son, who is on a visit to the United Statcs, spent the week-end. The police dispersed the demonstrators and seized placards reading: 4 ' President Eoosevelt: Don't shake hands with the son of an aggressor"; ' ' Wanted for collective murder — Vittorio Mussolini." The sympathy of. the onlookers was divided. Shouts of "Yiva Mussolini 1" mingled with shoute of "Down with Mussolini 1 " The protest was due to reports that President Roneevelt would receive Vit* torio.
