North and South Titles in Future

WELLINGTON, Last Night. The question of holding separat.e North and South Island championships in addition to the national championships was discussed at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Golf Assoeiation to-day. After considerable discussion it was decided to institute such championships but to exclude professionals, who, it was pointed out, already had their. own championsliip and open in which to compete. The motion was carried by 52 votes to 43.
