WELMNGTON, Last Night. Notiiieation that the trade agreement between New Zealana and Germany operates on October 12 is given in a supplementary Gazette. The dutieB provided for by the agreement in respect to German goods are applied to" similar goods from Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Luxemburg, Brazil, China, Czechoslovakia, Egypt, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Norway, Spain and Sweden. According to regulations issued with the supplementary Gazette, a number of classes of goods are exempted from the primage duty imposed by the Customs Act, the new order operating from Jctober 12. The exemptions include cotton liread, yarn, flux, silicate of soda, ivaxed paper, lead oxides (subject to certain restrictions as to use) and goods included under the following tariff items: Lenses, artiets' materials and emery pqper.
