METHODIST LADIES' GUILD HOLD MONTHLY MEETING
The montlily meeting of tbe Metbodist Ladies' Guild was beld last week in tbe girls' room, wbicb was gay with spring Howers. Tbe Ltev. II. B. Gosuell presided over a very good atteudance of members and visitors. Tbe business inciuded arrangements fur "Graildmothers' Day", wbich was fixed for December 1, Mrs Garratt offering to arrange lor an apron stall for tbe occasion. Final arrangements were made for the conibined gatbering of guilds to be beld on Wednesday, Lh-tober 13. if Duririg tlre afternoon Mr Gosnell gave a very interesting address on tbe l'March of Time," in wbicb be outlined events and people ot interest to all, Mrs Boaton and -Mrs Maisie were in cbarge of the bring-and-buy table, and were kept busy. Afternoon tea, which was provided by Mesdames Apperley, Wliite and Jones, was ab'orded opportuuity for a social balf-hour. The speaker and liostess were tbanked and , tko meeting closed with prayer.
