Tho belief in some quarters that the Government will go to the country immediately after the next Parliamentary session to test public opinion on the merits of its aehievements, partieularly as regards the ' guaran teed-priee schemo for dairy produce now in its second year, "and before the 1938-39 season's prices aTe announeed, was Teferred to Mr C, A. He felt that he had had "a good innings" and that it was tiiue for him to give up the strenuous life of a politician. He had left his two daughters in England, and Mrs Wilkinson would be joining- them thereshortly, while it was his intention to make another visit abroad at a later date. Asked wbether that meant a very lengthy absence from the Domnion, Mr Wilkinson said it did not, for he had liis business interests to which hg must give his attention.
