MRS. E. J. LARSON

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane LaTson, wife of Mr BernaTd Larson, passed away at Gisborne this week. Mrs Larson bad Tesided af Gisborne for the past two years. She was born at Waitati, Dunedin j and during the Great War carcied out splendid service as a patriotic'worker at Taradale, where her husband at the time was Town Board clerk. From Hawke's Bay she. went to Pongaroa, and then to Inglewood, and was well known in the Taranaki province for her social welfare work. During her lifetime she was prominentiy 'associated with church work. A large measure of sympathy will be extended to her husband^ and " two sons, Mr B. L. Larson, of Masterton, E. V. Larson, of Gisborne,. ahd two daughters, Mts H. G. Kayser, Pongaroa, and Misa W. V. Larson, Gisborne.
