WAIPAWA, Last Night. The final korero for the. 1937 season of the Waipaoa, Savage- Club was held last evening, Chief-Savage Chisholm, presiding. The programme, provided by Past Chiefs of the club, opened with a selectipn by the orchestra. Savage Woods was then heard in. two vocal numbers, followed by Savage F. Holt with a reading from Mark Twain. Savage Critchley gave addresses covering the history of the club, which was formed in 1917 and was now in its twentieth year„ Vocal solos were contributedi by Savag© Drake, and itema On .the piano-accorde on by Savage J. Walker. Following the supper intervali Savages Venner and Hart were heard; in vocal numbers, Savages Strang andi Edwards rendered a vocal duet, and a humorous reading, "Pigs Is Pigs," was given by Savage Harker. Ey speciai request further numbers were given by Savage Walker with his piano-accordeon.
