Combined Elsthorpe Function

ELSTHORPE, Last Night. The combined churches' annual bazaar, conducted by the Anglican and Presbyterian churches, was held in the Elsthorpe Hall. There was a good attendance of the public and the many well-stocked stalls were eoon sold out. The result was most gratifying ae closo on £50 was taken. The following stallholders worked hard to make the go'od result possible: Mesdames Williams, T. Wilder, Bruce, Ryan, Macaulay, Sutherland, A. McGaffin, Dillon, H. Cheer, D. Smith, T. Priest, Nelson, E. Gilmour, Nuttall, Lincoln and the Misses Sutherland, Ryan, Lissette, Nielson^ Dillon and Nelson. The judges in the flower ehow run in conjunction with the bazaar were Mrs T. 0. Warren and Mrs Greville Warren. The following are the winners of the various sections: — Basket of flowers: Miss Dillon 1, Mrs W. Watson, jnr., *2, Mrs Nuttall _3.
