If the Finahcial debate in the House of Representatives is not concluded this week it will suffer another interruption on Tuesday next in order to deal with the annual Land and IncomuTax Bill. This is required at as early a date as possible so that the depart-? ment can prepare its assessments fo» distribution to taxpayers. j The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. m! J. Savage) stated to-day that, in accordance with the Budget announceinent, the schedules of the coming measure would be the same as those of last year.
