[ 7 right.)
(Eeceived 8, 12.500 p.in.) EOME, Oct. 7. Lord Perth, British Ambassador, and M. Blondel, the French Charge d'Affaires, called on Count Oiano, Italian Foreign Minister; this evening requesting an early reply to the AngloFrench Note seeking ti'ipartito talks with a view to making non-intefveution in Spain more effective. Count Ciano explained that the reply was still in the progress of being drafted and would be delivefed "after a brief delay.'* The meeting reported to have been most cordial. It is authoritatively stated that the reply will be delivered on October 9. The delay is partly due to consultations with Berlin. The London Daily. Telegraph 's diplomatic correspondent says: '(England and France do not desire to hurry the careful study of matters raised in the Note, but both Governments have become sensitivb by most precise repOfts of renewed large-sclae intervention on behalf of the Spanish insurgenta. Apart from the despatch of a large group of the latest Italian bombers to Majorca, there is growing evidence of other war supplies going to Spain in eonsiderable quantities, ' '
