The annual general meeting of tb»» Havelock North Tennis Club will be held in tlie Bowling pavilion ou Friday Oetober 8, at 7.30^ p.m. All basketball players are remlnded oi the association 's dance, which will be held in the Harrie Studio this eveniug at 8 o'clock. The Hawke's Bay Agriculttiral and Pastoral Society invites those not already members to become so, and thus secure the privileges of the society's two shows, as well qs assisting in the progress of the province. The annual subscription is £1 arid tiekets niay be obtaiued at the society's office, Chdrch Lane, Napier, or fronf Mr F. C. Wilkinson, Queen street, Hastings. Subscripitions taken out now will cover all tbe privileges for the forthcoming shovv.
