CAMPAIGN ABANDONED?
Lalour-Communist Front in Britain (Received 7, 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 6. The Labour Party conference at Bournemouth elected a new executivo including Sir Stafford Cripps and Professor Laski. Newspapers express the opinion, (says a British Offieial Wireless message) that, as the result of the overwhelming vote of the Labour Party conference condemning a nnited front with the Communists, advocates of this proposal in the Labour ranks, cluef of wltom has been Sir Stafford Cripps, win abandon their campaign. Press reports suggest a connection between this and the re-election of Sir Stafford Cripps and Professor Laski to the national executive among the repreSentatives of constituency Labour parties.
