If rain falls during this week it is possible "that the season mSy be commenced on the earlier date, as the wickets themfselves* are already in good order. A UaboUr Day match will be played betwean senior and junior teama repreienting Napier and Hastings. Application is to be made to the council for eight wickets on Nelson Park, Napier, and six on McLoan Park, and application is also to be made to tho High School for three wickets at the school groiinds. Feilding the completion of the practioe wickets at the northem ehdi of Nelson Park, wickets have been prepafed at the Morris street end, ;
