Consolidation with Dannevirke Hlgh Sehool

NORSEWOOD, Ltst Night. Advice that the secondary aepartraent of the Norsewood School will be closed at the end of the present school year and cousolidated with the Dannevirke High Sehool on the re-opening of school next year, was received from the Hawke's Bay Etlilcatioli Board at the monthly meeting of the Norsewood School Committee. The decision is subjeot to a satisfactory arrangement being made for a motor-bus for the transport- of tho pilpils to Dannevirke. The meeting was presidcd over by Mr O. Poulsen and others present were Mr A. Mildon and Messrs A. Mildon (seeretary), H. ltitchie and J. Hansen. Coniirmation from the Hawke's Bay j Education Board of the appointment of Mr O. Torkilson as woodwork instructor, was received. Arrangements were completed for the annual fancy-dress ball which is to be held later' this month.
