A DREARY DAY
Gold Shares Sag on London Stock Markets (Eeceived 6, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 5. With giltedgeds the only exception, it was a dreary day on the stock markets. Hoarders were heavy buyers of gold, on which the day's saies amounted to over £1,000,000. However, despite the rising price of gold, gold shares sagged.
