Australia's Rugby Chances (Eeceived 6, 1.0 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 6. Before tho Springboks left for Melbourne, Nel expfessed the opinion that the New Zealand and Australian Eugby Unions would be wise to adopt international rules for all their football, so that they would not find thoso rules strange when they came to play international matches. Nel added that he considered Australia would have a good chance of beating New Zealand next year, especially if the right forwards were chosen — men who would regard gaining possession of tho ball as their first objective and would not run about too much in the loose.
