Summer Gloves.

Openwork net gloves are ideal for summery wear and keep the hands cool. Finely meshed curtain net at a shilling or so a yard can be used for these gloves and a pair can be made at home very cheaply. Glove pattems are obtainable, or you may cut up an old pair of gloves for a guide in the cutting-out process. All seams are backstitched on the wrong side and the gloves turned to right side when flnished, Coarse coloured thread can he used for a little embroidery round the cuffs or gauntlets of the gloves.
