Mr. H. T. Limbrick', of Waipawa, is at present on a visit to Auckland. Dr. D. Y. Allen has begun practice in Ruataniwha st.reet, Waipawa, in partnership with Dr. Norris. Mrs M. L. Grainger, who has been staying in Wairoa, left for Otane on 1 uesday. Mr.i T. Lambert left Wairoa on Tuesday on a visit to lier daughte*, Mrs J. R. H. Thorp, Hastings. Mr - C. H. Grainger has left Wairoa for Ruatoria, where he'.takes up a pofilion with Kash Traders Ltd. Mr. A. E. Jull has returned to Wai^ pawa from Wellington, where he has been attending the Dominion conference of the New Zealand National Party. Miss Marie Johnston, of the Napier hospital staff, who has been visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Johnston, Wairoa, has returned to Napier. Mr E. Stiles was iriet yesterday by members of the Waipukurau Golf and Tennis clubs, of which he is secretary, and a presentation of a silver tea-ser-vice was made to him by Mr A. M. jcbnstone, president of both clubs, in view of Mr Stiles 's approaehing marnuge. Mr. G. Huston, who has been a member of the railway linesmen's stafi at Otane for some considerable time, has left with his wife and family for Napier, where he has been transferred. Before their departure Mr. and Mrs. Huston were entertained at a social evening by members of the Otane branch of the Labour Party, of which Mr. Huston was president.
