CHALLENGE BOWL
Miss £. Harkness Wins Trophy COUNT-BACK NECESSARY Tbe L.G.D. Challenge Bowl and replica, played in conjunction with the New Zealand* golf championships at Waiohiki, was won yesterday by Miss E. Harkness, of Nelson, after a countback with Mrs. ,E. M. Hunt, of Wellington, both having recorded a nett 72. The present holder of the trophy is Miss E. Nutt, of Christchurch. The trophy for the best gross score was won by Mrs. G. Hollis, Hawera, after a count-back with Mrs. R. S. F uilerton-Smith, who both returned cards oi 77 Details of the scores are as foilows : —
