A very sudden gust of wind sprang up near the Mahora School to-day just al'ter 12 o'clock, and created a miniature whirlwind, which travelled along the road suck.ing dust up as it went A small sheet of paper was in its path, and it whipped this up and rarj-ied it skywards until within the spare of a couple of minutes it was lost from sight in the white clouds. The wind dropped just as suddeuly as it hui/ sprung up.
