Mrs. Hollis won her match against Mrs. Chrisp, on the 18th green by one tfp, ttds being the only one of the sight games to reach the Iast green. , Mrs. Hollis won the 6th and the 9th holes and was two up- at the turn. She gained another hole at the 10th and xgain at the 12th after halving the 11th to irfcand four up and six to play. At the 13th Mrs. ChriSp laid Mrs. Hollis * stymie, which the latter failed to negotiate, knoeking her opponent 's ball into tho hole to give'her a win. Mrs. Chrisp . won the short 14th, sinking a long putt for a two and reducing her debit to two down. The fifteenth was halved in fives and the sixteenth went to Mrs. Chrisp five to six where Mts. Hollis Hollis had duffed her seeond. Mrs. Hollis was thus oue up and two to play. The 17th was halved in fours, Mrs. Hollis being bunkered from the tee. The 18th was halved in fours, Mrs. Chrisp just lapping the hole for three to lose the 'match by one down. Miss Hutton won her game from Miss Beadel by two up and one to . play. Miss Tolhurst won from Miss Wilson at ihe sixteenth by four up and two to play. Then Miss Tolhurst picked up another hole to be 4 and 6. But Miss Wilson rallied and won back two holes in succession, the fourteenth with a two as the result of a iong putt. Miss Tolhurst then won the 15th in three to four and the sixteenth in five to a six, taking the match four and two. Miss Wilson beat Miss Upton by six and five. The first two holes went to Mrs Wilson by fives to sixes, the third going to Miss Upton, to be followed | by two halves. The sixtli and seventb were won in threes to fours by Mrs Wilson. A half at tlie next and tbe ninth to Mrs Wilson left the. game lour up in her favour at the tuni. The tenth was halved in fours to be followed by two wins for Mrs Wilson, and with a half at the thirteenth the game ended there. Mrs Morpeth won her game from Mrs Alison by two np and one to play. The first half was won very even- ! ly contested, Mrs Morpeth won the second and cikth, while Mrs Alison won the fourtii and seventh. The next three holes were halved in fours, fives and threes, for the game to end at the seventeenth green. oMiss Helean won her match against Mrs Stout by a good margin, the game finishing on the 13th. green. The first five holes were very even, the first gjoing to Miss Helean and the fifth to Mrs Stout to he all square. Miss Helean then won the 6th., 8th., and 9th. with the 7th. halved to turn three up. At the third hole both players sank putts from the edge of the green to halve in fours. Miss Helean went on to win three moje holes, the eleventh being halved and win by 6 and 5.
