CHINA'S APPEAL
League Sub-Committee Appointed GENEVA, Oct. 2. A sub-committee of tbe League of Nations Assembly, appointed to suggest action regarding China's appeal to the League, comprises representatives from Engiand, Australia and New Zealand as mcmbers, and the United States is represented by an observer. The Chinese cireulated a draft resolution condemning Japan as the aggressor under aticie 10 of the Coveuant. It is expected that this will be referred to the sub-committee. It has been decided not to rusb matters and extend the session of the Asseinbly.
