LONDON UPROAR Fascist Procession Causes Trouble CROWD PELTS LEADER

(Received 4, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 3. Shouts of "Mosley shall not pass" greeted a big Fascist march from Millbank to Bermondsey. The route was lined on both sides, The crowd broke through the police cordon at several points. There were a number of arrests and two police were injured. Two barricades erected in the streets and aurmounted with red flags were removed by the police, and while a third was being built police reinforcements arrived. They were met with stones and other missiles, and the police made a baton charge. The procession included 5000 marchers. Sir Oswald Mosley, dressed in a black shirt and uniform, inspected them and, amid hoots, led them under tho Fascist banner through a cordon of mounted and footpolice. Tremendous efforts were made to impede them, and the crowd pelted Sir Oswald Mosley. The bulk of the procession halted before reaching West Lane Square, where a portion listened to Sir Oswald 's addrcss, which, despite loudspeakers, was almost inaudible owing to hoots, jeers and the explosion of fireworks, but words caught were: ' "Once again we've marched. We've passed. " The police repeatedly charged to clear abutting streets. Ambulances Temovad 13 injured. The meeting broke up after 90 minutes.
