Voitre Resumes Riding MELBUUJKNJE, October 2. The weather was wet for the Flemington races. Willie Win was not impressive in Stand handicap and he was last te finish. Desert Chief and Red Manfred ran poorly in the same race, which re- * suited in a surprise win for Elbruno. Beau Frere, which was bought for 750 guineas in New Zealand, was unluckily beaten by Poohbear in the Colt's Division of the Maribyrnong Trial Stakes. K.
