Taumarunui Meeting Opens BIG DIVIDEND IN TRIAL

JPAEROA, Saturday. The Taumarunui Racing Club opened .ts meeting at Paeroa in bright sunshine. There was a large attendance and the course was in splendid order. The totalisator investments amounted to £24,415 10s, and for the eorrespondl ing day last year the amount was£21,375, the increase being £3040 10s. The feature of the day was Gold Yaal's sensational dividend to return over three-quarters of a century and nearly a score for a place.
