Musical Play and Mannequin Parade Before Packed House

WAirAWA, niast xsignt. A suceOssful entertainment organisecl by the Bev. and Mrs W. T. Drake was held in the Munieipal Theatre, Waipawa, last evening, before a packed house. The lirst portion of the programme was given over to a short musical play presented by the children, and the inanner in which they carried out their parts reflects great credit on the patient training by the organisers. The seeond portion consist-ed of a number of vocal items, with danciag numbers by pupils of Miss Jean Ballantyne, and this was followed by a grand mannequin parade presented by Misses Liddell and Murphy. An excellent evening 's entertainment was provided, anU the large audience was generous with its applause.
