TRADE CONCESSIONS

Canadian Imports from Australia (Eeceived 4, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Oet. 3. Tlje Federal Prime Minister, M. J. A. Lyons, during an electioneering speech announced that suhstantial concessions to Australia are embodied in a new trade agreoment with Canada. No concessions addition to those hitherto in force have been granted to Canada. Canadian duties on Australian sutton and lamb have been reduced from three cents to half a cent per lb. Canned meat, poultry, canned fruits and fronen rabbits will in future be admitted free. Other concessions affect wmes. frozen egg pulp, novelties, ornaments, toys and tennis racquets.
