Election of Committee At the annual meeting- of the Hawke 'a Bay branch of the Eeal Estate Institute of New Zealand, Mr F. C. Wilkinson, Hastings, was again. elected to the office of president. The following committee was appointed: Messrs A. E. Renouf , C. C. Willis, J. H. Oldharn, R. J. G. Madigan, A. I). Purchas, T. E. Lindsay, and T. S. Roulston. Mr C. D. Cox was re-appointed councillor for tlife district to the conference at Wellington. The new scale of tariffs, which ha3 for some time been under consideration from the North Island executive, was adopted, and this will mean that with exeeptions in a few ininor details only, there will be a unif orm tarifE througk the North Island.
