ARABS ARRESTED . Higher Committee Declared Illegal DEPORTATIONS ORDERED

An official coinmunique states that the terrorist campaign has become intensified and that, in view of this, it has been found necessary to institute action against certain persons whose activities have been prejudicial to the maintenance of public security in Palestine and who must thixs b© regarded as morally responsible for the murders of ritish officials. Tho Arab Higher Committee and its. constituent bodies have been declared illegal, The Grand Mufti has been deprived of lxis office, A number of leading Arabs will be deported from Palestine. Tho Sussex is standiag by *t Haifa to take deportees. All land frontiers are being strictly guarded.
