AUCKLAND, Last Night. R. Marsden the Australian jockey, xvixo arrived by the Monterey to-day commented on the faet that alj tlie leading riders in England had their valets, who got everything ready. They worked on a win or loss percentage basis. Marsden considered the , Australian riders better on the average than the i English horsemen. Among the latter was Gordon Richards. Marsden said that the best English courses could not conjpare with the Australian ones for public appointments.
