Applying lor an order against his wli'e to pay alimony to him, Eiwin Pope, aged 69, told the Uourt a story oi a marriage m which he periormed household duties and his wife, who was a school teacher, earned the family livlng. He said that since, his marriage in 1931 he had scmbbed the floors, washed the dishes and cut lunches. His wife said that she had turned down the gas under a saucepan, whereupou Pope angrily hurled her away, declaring that he was running the house. The wife was ordered to pay her husbaxul 35 dollars a month temporary aixmony.
