MR. JAMES ROSENBERG
Following a long illness, the death occurred at Havelock North this morning of Mr James Kosenberg, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. Eosenberg, of Hastings. The late Mr Eosenberg, wlio was 87 years of age, was born at Woodville and wais edueated at the Hastings and Napier High Schools. He was a keen Eugby enthusiast in his younger days, and represented the Hastings Sub-Union ahout 1919. He joined the firm of Nelsons (N.Z.), Ltd. some 20 years ago, and was later transferred to W. It. Fletcher (N.Z.), Ltd. at Westfield, Auckland. About two years ago ill* health compelled his retirement. and some three or i'our months ago he returned to tliis distriet, taking up residerice at Havelock North. Widespread sympathy will ' be extended to thoso who are left, tliey ineluding the widow (nee Miss Dorothy Ebbett, daughter of Mr. Geo. Ebbett, of Hastings) and two young sons, Brian and Craig. The funeral will leave the residenee, Joll road, Havelock North, at 2.30 o'cloelt to-morrow afternoon for the Hastings Cemetery.
