The sale and advertising of coutraceptives and abortifaeients was the subject of a renfit from the Manawatu branch, which asked that legislation ,to govern and control the sale and advertising of these articles should be brought in. After rnueh diseussion the remit was araended to state that the conference supported the McMillan report 's recommewlntions with regard to the sale and adrertising of coutraeeptives and abortifaeients and asked that legislation to make tho recommc-mlit tions effeetive should be introduced.
