"It is time women learned to pick |out other women fit to represent them •on local bodies and in Parliament, and' that they should then devote them-i selves to giving all possible support,"! said Miss C. E. Kirk, J.P., of Welling-' ton, Dominion president of the New Zealand National Conncil of Women,' who is presiding over the Dominion Conference of the council, in Auckland. "Particularly," continued Miss Kirk, "should women endeavour to secure seats on all local bodies, such as the - Hospital Board, the Charitable Aid Board and school •committees."
