BRIDESMAID IN BLUE FOR A WAIPUKURAU WEDDING

MOUAT — FRYER St. Mary's Church, Waipukurau, waa decorated with spring blossoms for tlie wedding of Inez Ruth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Fryer, Waipukurau, and Dennis Franklyn Mouat, of Wellington, yesterday a fternoon. The c eremony was performed by the Rev. W. T. Driike, Waipawa, Mra W. G. Bryce played the wedding muaic, "The Yoice That Breathed O'er Eden" being sung as the bridal party entered the church. Escorted by her fatlier, the bride was gowned in ivory needle-run lace. The bodice was tiglit-htting with full bishop sleevea, and the back was finis hed with tiny buttons. The skirt was fully fiared, and a half-way belt finished the waistline. Her tulle veil was held in place with a circle of orange bJossoms. She wore cream shoes aud carried a bridal bouquet of cream flowers. Miss Clara FJeming, who attended the bride, wore a slim-fitting frock oi' blue needle-run lace over blue satin, the fully fiared skirt forming a slight train. The square neckline was finished with a high inedici collar and a sash of velvet in a darker shade of blue, defined the waistline. She wore a halo of silver leaves with silver shoes and a crystal neeklace (the g>ft of the bride and bridegroom), and carned a bouquet to tone with her frock. The little flower-girl, Jean Aimand. waa wearing blue silk net, baving puffed sleeves and tiny frills in her liemline, sashed in blue satin, and a halo of silver leaves and blue velvet rlowers. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. W. Wilkinson, of Wellington. At the reception whick followed, tne guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Fryer, parents of the bride. Mrs. Fryer was gowned in brown iloral silk marocain, with a matching silk coat and hat. Wlien the bride and bridegroom left for their honeymoon, a tour in the north, the bride travelled in a navy suit, worn with a salmon pink satin blouse, navy hat and accessories to tone.
