REVOLT THREAT IN MANCHUKUO

As part of a triple offensive iii North Ghina, the Japanese are ^eported to have smashed the Chinese littes and to have advanced within 15 miles of the Shantung border, capturing the strategic Ttmgkuang statioii, which is oU the Tientsin-Pukow line* The Japanese spokesman announced to-day that, as a precautionary measure, Japan was sending 120,000 troops to Manchukuo to meet a threat of revolt. * General Hanfuchu, Governor of Shantung, has pledged ellegiance to Marshal Chiang Kai-sliek. Tokio alleges that British as-well as Russian anti-aircraft guns being installed at Nanking* . '■
