Heacimaster Resigns From Our Own Correspondent. Tbe headmaster of tbe Otaiie School, Mr Tfeveiia, tendered his fesignation at the monthly meeting of the Otane School CoiniUittee, Mr 'Ireveiia has accepted a positioh at the Northland School, Wellington, and will take up his duties there oii November 1. Ile thauked tbe committee for its courtesy and ccl-operation dux-ing bis headinastership. T'be work iu the school had been iuade easier througih the willihgness uf tbe committee members oii all occasions to do theif best for the school, he said. The chairman, Mr A. E, Black, expressed regfet at losing Mr Treveha's serviees, but Wished him happiness aird euccess in his netv positibn. The headmaster reported that the avqrage attendance for the past three weeks was 150.6 and the foll number 171, which Will be sufficient to retain the present staff next year.
