• ' ' H • Supplies for East Coast Maori Schemes Arrangements have been made for the opening of a tjmber mill at Whakapunake, a high bush-clad range pxtendiug from Te Keinga to tko back of Tiniroto, for the purpose of supplying timber for nativo dovelopment eqhemes, It is anticipated that between 3500 and 4000ft. of timber per day will be miiled to supply natlve development work in the Gisborne, Coast and Wairoa districts, A roadway has been completed into the proposed mill ?ito, and a further road is being constructed. The bush is on the East Coast Commission 's property,
