9 Fall Down Light Shaft

AUCKLAND, This Day. An elderly man not yet identifiedj probably a visitor to Auckland, was found dead this morning at the hottom of the light shaft at the Seddon Memorial Teehnieal College. The shaft runs down the side of the main school building and is shut off from the playground hy a concrete wall. Apparcntlv the man fell from the top of the wall to the base of the shaft, a distance of about 15 feet. He was aged about 60, stout build, 5ft. 7in, in height, anfl was wearing a navy blue suit and new black shoes. An inquest will be opened to* morrow.
