Strict Regulation of Porchases
TOKIO, Sept. 24. Japan's policy remains unsettled rogarding the timo and quantity of wool 1'urchases. Importers say that they are in the dark as to how tboy will be nble to procecd, though they have hitherto been perenitted to buy srnall quantities for hand-to-moulh ueeds. A high Government official states that the whole matter is in thfe hands of Mr. Yoshino, who has apparently not yet made up his mind. However, importers will be allowed to buy minirnurn bona fide requirements, though speculative buying is strietly prohibit ed. 1 " '
