BABY SOLD FOR A DOLLAR
Strange Deal in Chicago (Received 27, 8.45 a.m.) CHICAGO. Sept. 25. A "bill of sale" figures in a strange story of a two-months-old girl who haB been put under the custody of the police. The girl's foster-parents, named Lizak, produced a document reading: "Know ye all men by these presents — Thomas and Stella Lizak hereby agree to take this baby girl and raise it and support it as their very own." The real motker is alleged to have given the baby to a couple who sold tho child to tlie Lizaks for a dollav.
