AUCKLAND. This Day. "How many more are coming?" asked Mr Orr Walker, S.M., in the Police Court when 16 charges of making false statements for the purpose of obtaining benefit under tlie Employment Promotion Act were brought by the Labour Department. The Magistrate said that several hundred cases had already been lieard, and he understood there were about 200 yet to b8 dealt" with. A special Court would be needed. Mr W. Black, who appeared for the department, said there would be 21 cases next week, and there was a large number still to come.
