The first re&olution to be moved at tho eixty-fourth auuual couference of the National Union oi' the Conservative and Uiiionist Association — t»ie couference will open at Scarborough on October 7 — congratulates the Prime Minister, Mr Neville Chamberlain, and the National Government on tho cuntinued improvement in industry and employment. The resolution thanks them for the steps they are laking for the preservation of the country's seeurity and the maintenance of peace, and assqres them of the wholehearted support of the Conservative and Unionist Party.
