MUNICIPAL THEATRE

"STREAMLINB EXPRESS" AND "LET THEM IJVE." Victor Jory and Evelyn Venable have the leading xoles in "Streamline Express," at the Hastings Municipal Theatre to-night. The fllm is a comedydrama, set on board the express train of the future, and the keynote of the production is ultra-modernity, both in story and sdttings. Comedy and drama are skilfully mingled in the interwoven destinies of a group of passengers on a trans-continental run. The support* ing cast includes Ralph Forbes, Esther Ralston, Sidney Blackmer, Erin O'Brien Moore and Vincent Barnett. A significant phase of modern life is portrayed with dramatic intensity in Universal's "Lefc Them Live," which also screen at the Municipal tonight. The story sets forth the valiant battle of a young doctor to compel political bosses to improve health con^ ditions in a city. The romantic eleruent of the screen drama develops when two lovely girls. are attracted to the doctor. The leading role is played brilliantly by Jonh Howard, who scored earlier in "Lost Horizon." Nan Grey, remembered for her work in "Three Smart Girls," given an appealing per* formance opposite Howard. The other girl who vies with Nan for the doctor 's affection is Judith Barrett, seen as the niece of the political chief. The latter role is portrayed by Edward Ellis.
