TESTS FOR DIPLOMATS
The supreme iniportance of blood has been elevated into a dogma in modern Germany. It is being emphasised, th a somewhat different basis, by Dr. Tsunemasa Aragaki, medical expei*t attached to the Japanese Foreign Office. If. Dr. Aragaki lias his way, oniy applieants who can show an "O" type of blood will be admitted into the foreign service in tlie future. Dr. Aragaki is convinced that this type of blood, as revealcd by test^, indicales a couibination of desivable qualities: calmuess, strengtli of will, gentlonesis, and self-cohfidence.
