The plain and fancy needlewofk see* tion ef the Hawke 's Bay Spring Show is always a big c©ntr& of attfactiOn, especi&lly to the fair sex, and it is perhaps the most popular scctiou to a very large nxifflber of the show visitors. The exhlbits in tliis eection are of a very high staudard always, and there is seldom an indifferent specimen, in any clasS. There are six classes dpeii to girls 17 years of under, and theso invafiably bring out eOrnO vbry good work. Include.d in this section, too, are classfes fdf various kinds of decorative work, also a floral section open to women '3 organisation for which a handsome tfophy as allotted.
