PROBABLES FOR TEST White Likely to Piay at Outside Centre BASTARD MAY BE DROPPED ^

(By Telegraph-

Auckland, Lasjt Night. Tlie All Blacks held their final praetice at the Training College grounds to-day, while the Sp'ringboks trained at Eden Park and will have their last training to-morrow. The selection of the Springbok fifteen has not yet been announced, but it is likcly that Saturday 's team will consist of the following players: — Fiill-back: G. H. Brand. Three-quarters: F. G. Turner, L Babrow, J. White, D. 0. Williams. Fly haif; T. A. Harns. Hali-back: D. N. Cfaven. Forw&tds: — Front row: S. C. Louw, J. W. Lotz, M, M. Louw. Middle row: B. A. du Toit, P. J. Nel, M. A. van den Berg, L. C. Strachan. Back row: W. F. Bergh. This backline is the same at that •fielded for the second Test. In spite of the brilliant diSplays in Tecent jiatches of some of the otlher centres, especially Hofmeyer, it appears certain that White "Will be ret&ined as the outside centre. White's "deadly tackling and fierce determination will most likely be used to combat the speed 6nd penetration of Mitchell, the proba'ble New Zealand oentre. In. the foj vard division it appears that Bastard may have to be dropped in favour of B. du Toit, who is considered one of the greatest loose forttards South Africa has produced. Du Toit has made a rOmarkable recovery from the Serious injury to his spine suffered in Australia, and he is now playing as weli as ever. He packed doWn in the middle row during to-day 's practice. Nel, tho captain, nulst be regarded as ti oertainty, as his leadership is indisipensablc.
